This is a book about then and now and how the two are forever intertwined. Then was Turkey in the early 1980s. It was a tumultuous time of political chaos that serves as the backdrop for this story about a group of young people -friends and lovers at the university- who find and lose each other in the uproar. Now, the memories haunt each one of them until the truth of what really happened back then can finally be revealed and the remorse and guilt can be relieved.
