İİT Ülkelerinde Mesleki ve Teknik Eğitim / Vocational and Technical Education in The OIC Countries

Günümüz İslam dünyasında mesleki ve teknik eğitim her geçen gün biraz daha fazla önem kazanmaya başlamıştır. Çünkü tüm çabalara rağmen işsizlik sorunu kendini her geçen gün daha derinden hissettirmektedir ve iş arayanların yarıya yakını mesleği yeterliliğe sahip değildir. Öte yandan sanayi, ihtiyaç duyduğu vasıflı işgücünü bulamamaktadır. Tüm bunlara rağmen Türkiye'de ve diğer İslam ülkelerinde gençlerin mesleki-teknik eğitime talebi azalmaktadır. İİT ülkelerinde mesleki ve teknik eğitim sorununa çözüm bulma çabaları, yeterli düzeyde olmasa da mevcuttur; en azından yetkililerin pek çoğu bu alandaki eksikliğin farkında olduklarını ve bu soruna bir çözüm bulunması gerektiği yönündeki arzularını her fırsatta ortaya koymaktadırlar. İşte bu noktada, mesleki-teknik eğitim alanındaki deneyimlerin paylaşılması, bu sorunun evrensel yönleri ile tek tek ülkelere özgün yönlerinin ortaya konulması, bu alandaki işbirliği imkânlarının araştırılması büyük önem kazanmaktadır.

In the Islamic world of today, vocational and technical education is gaining much importance with each day passing. It is because the problem of unemployment is becoming more and more evident in spite of all efforts and nearly half of the job seekers do not have professional competence. On the other hand, industry can not find the required qualified manpower. Despite all these facts, the demand for vocational and technical education in Turkey and other Islamic countries is decreasing. The efforts to find a solution to the problem of vocational and technical education are taking place in the OIC countries. At least most of the authorities know about the deficiency on this area and they express their desire to find a solution for this problem at every opportunity. Right on this point, the sharing of experiences on the fields of vocational and technical education, executing the universal aspects of this problem and its country specific dimensions and exploring potential cooperation opportunities on this field gain so much importance.
